UGH

I cannot breathe!!!!! Literally, stupid allergies have made these past 2 weeks miserable. Meds don't offer any relief at all, just staying active somewhat helps. My body is sore and tired, from the gym to hiking trails. Today we are going up the Incline. It will be my first time. This is probably the number one attraction here in the Springs.

The Manitou Incline

"Arguably the most popular of all the Colorado Springs hiking trails, the Manitou Incline can be plainly seen from all over town. It's the "scar" that cuts down the face of Rocky Mountain.

It's only 1 mile up, but gains 2000 feet of vertical by way of 2800 railroad ties. And it's a 4 mile stroll (or run) back down the Barr Trail's switchbacks.

Colorado Springs residents are some of the healthiest in the country, and they love to train on the Incline. In the summer especially, expect crowds."

The last time my husband went up, it only took him 34 mins.

My babies

Let me introduce you to my furbabies...

This tan beauty is Honda.. yes you heard right. We got her from a local rescue here in Colorado and Honda was her name when we first saw her... we just kept it. She was literally love at first sight! Honda is a lab-pit-ridgeback mix.

Our other addition is TT. She came from a family with 5 children who got her from the Humane Society. She is our happy go-lucky one. She has not a care in the world and you could pretty much tug and pull at her ears or legs and she thinks its a game. TT is a lab-pit mix.

They are my babies and I can't imagine our lives without them. We take them to parks on a regular basis. They've been to the dog park since they were pups, and we would take them 2-3 times a week. Now that they are older and totally ball crazy, we now take them to a larger, open space park that they can run and chase their precious ball around!

Right now they are passed out, and here I am wide awake. Well I hope you all have a good night!

Long time no blog...

Wow its been way too long since I've been on here. It's actually kind of sad that it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to post a new blog. I really could not remember how to get to this page!

Anyways, I want to begin by saying happy valentine's day everyone! I hope you all get to spend it with those you love, and if you for some reason cannot or don't have that love around.... I still hope you do something special for yourself because with or without it still is LOVE DAY!

There has been so much that has happened and I am kicking myself for not writing everyday like I use to way back in the day. However, here is the rundown.

*Met the love of my life and we will be married for 2 years come June 3rd.

*We have two awesome dogs that we love like they are our children.

*Currently living in Colorado and loving every moment.

*I've become an adrenaline junkie.. I now ride dirtbikes and street bikes.

Well I'm excited about blogging again. Life is great! I hope everyone has a wonderful V-Day!!!
